A Year After Gangster Atiq Ahmed's Killing, Motive Remains Unclear

The Special Investigation Team constituted to investigate the murders of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, has filed a charge sheet against the three assailants, arrested from the site of the killings.

Exactly a year ago on this day, former MP and mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead by three assailants while they were being taken for medical examination.

A year later, the mystery regarding the motive behind the killing remains unsolved.
