Snakes come in sizes small and large. The largest snake species in the world is the reticulated python. The largest snake in the species ever recorded was found in 1912, and was over 32 feet long.

The world's longest snake is the reticulated python, according to the National History Museum, not to be confused with the world's heaviest, the green anaconda. Ashlyn Messier is a writer for Fox News Digital.
