9 dead after private plane crashes in Dominican Republic

Nine people died after a private plane crashed in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday.

Nine people - seven passengers and two crew members - died after a private aircraft crashed in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday. The plane was making an emergency landing at Las Americas Airport in the Dominican Republic's capital Santo Domingo when the incident occurred.

Of the seven passengers, six were foreign nationals and one was Dominican, the plane's operator Helidosa Aviation Group tweeted.
