Two places have been earmarked for public, with northern platforms accommodating 6,557 people and southern platforms accommodating 2,706 people, bringing the total number of public invited to the event to about 9,586.Brigadier Dr Ali Khajim Al-Athbi said the parade is limited for invitees adding that 9,586 seats have been provided to the public on the right and left sides of the main platform.He said several parking lots have been identified for those holding invitations and car permits. Public parking spaces have been allocated near the Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque, from which the public is transported by bus to the celebration area.The National Day celebrations include fireworks at Doha Corniche to coincide with the closing ceremony of the Arab Cup, in addition to the National Day activities in Aspire Park and the old Souq Waqif in Al Wakra.Al Athbi urged the public to take necessary precautions and to ensure the safety of children and the elderly, and not to hesitate to ask assistance from the security personnel.
