In a video that has gone viral on social media, an 84-year-old woman’s wish to fly a plane one last time was fulfilled by her son. She had advanced stages of Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s is a disease that affects one’s movement and, sadly, it has no cure as yet. So, when a woman in the advanced stages of the disease asked her son to grant her one last wish, he obviously agreed. Earl Gage fulfilled his mother’s last wish to fly a plane and the video of it has gone viral on social media. The woman, who was an ex-pilot, got to fly a plane and the video has left the internet emotional and cheering for the lady.
In the video, 84-year-old Myrta Gage can be seen inside the cockpit of a plane and controlling it like an absolute pro. She was at ease inside the plane due to the familiarity of the environment from her youth. Her son, Earl, recorded the video from behind and kept on encouraging his mother.
