80% of Mumbai already exposed to virus, third wave likely to be less severe: TIFR report
India Today
According to a report published by the TIFR, the impact of a probable third wave of Covid-19 pandemic in Mumbai is likely to be less severe than the second wave as almost 80 per cent of the residents have been exposed to the virus.
The third wave of Covid-19 is likely to be less severe in Mumbai than the second wave as about 80 per cent of the city’s residents have already been exposed to the virus, as per a report by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). The report suggests even if there is a third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the risk will be lower due to increased herd immunity among Mumbaikars.More Related News
