8-year-old girl dies in Bengaluru after fumigation causes house to turn into gas chamber

Ahana, an 8-year-old girl, died of complications on Monday, August 1. She died as a result of her house turning into a gas chamber after it was fumigated with pesticides recently.
An 8-year-old girl died of complications after the house she was staying in with her parents was fumigated with insecticides recently and it turned into a gas chamber.
The incident occurred in Bengaluru's Vasanth Nagar in High Grounds police station limits on Monday, August 1.
The victim has been identified as Ahana. Her parents, Vinod Kumar (35) and Nisha (32), also developed serious issues and were admitted to the hospital. However, they are out of danger now, said police sources.
An FIR has been registered at the High Grounds police station in connection with the incident.
The girl's family had rented a house on Maramma Temple Street in Vasanth Nagar. They stayed on the second floor. The owner of the house has been identified as Shivaprasad.
Further investigations are underway.
