Eight out of the 10 MLAs in the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab cabinet are first-timers. They were administered the oath on Sunday in Chandigarh. Here's a list of the portfolios.
Eight out of the ten Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs, inducted into the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab cabinet, are first-timers. The MLAs along with Chief Minister Bhawant Mann have no prior experience of running a government. Mann allocated the portfolios to the ten cabinet ministers who were sworn in on March 19.
Bhagwant Mann has kept Home Affairs and Justice and 26 other departments, including Civil Aviation, Vigilance, Local Government, Industries and Commerce, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Technical Education and Industrial Training.

Dirba MLA Harpal Singh Cheema was the first to take the oath. He has been made the Minister for Finance, Excise and Taxation. He will also be handling three other departments.
Baljeet Kaur has been given the Social Justice Empowerment and Minorities department, besides the Social Security and Women and Child Development Ministry.
Harbhajan Singh has been made Public Works and Power Department minister.
Vijay Singla will be the Health and Family Welfare Minister. He will also look after Medical Education and Research Department.
