7th Pay Commission latest news: The Narendra Modi government may bring some more good news for the central government employees this New Year with a hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA).
Although it has not been decided as to how much the Dearness Allowance (DA) will be increased in January 2022, but as per the data of the AICPI index, a 3 percent DA is being expected to increase. According to AICPI data, the figures till September 2021 suggest Dearness Allowance (DA) @ 32.81 percent. This figure/data will be an important component while deciding on further DA hike of 3 percent. Although there is no concrete information on government's next move, it is widely reported in the media that the DA hike is on the cards.
