Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t held a formal press conference with reporters since she became the presumptive and now official Democratic nominee.
Trump held his third news conference since the beginning of August earlier this month in California, taking the opportunity to roast his opponent's home state and hold forth on a number of topics, including crime, immigration and inflation. Harris has stepped up her interviews in recent weeks, including doing radio hits and a solo sit-down with a Philadelphia TV station. She also spoke to MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle and she made time to hang out with supporter Oprah Winfrey earlier this month at a star-studded campaign event.
