7 dead in wall collapse in separate incidents in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur

In three separate incidents in UP's Sitapur district, seven people died and two others were injured after walls of their house collapsed on them due to heavy rains.

At least seven people died in wall collapses due to heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur on Tuesday. Two people who suffered serious injuries due to wall collapse have been admitted to a district hospital, police said on Wednesday morning. Giving details, police said the first incident took place at Laxman Nagar village in the Manpur police station area of Sitapur when a house collapsed early Wednesday morning.
