The police said around 4:20 p.m. a 911 call was made reporting that a woman had been hit by a bus on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard near Lacordaire Boulevard.
“According to initial reports, the collision occurred when the victim was crossing Henri-Bourassa Boulevard heading north while the bus was travelling west on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard,” an SPVM spokesperson said.
The 69-year-old victim was found under the bus and suffered serious injuries. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
