6-yr-old girl rescued after video shows drunk father thrashing her in Tamil Nadu's Perambalur

A six-year-old girl was rescued by Tamil Nadu police after a video showing her 34-year-old drunk father brutally thrashing her was sent by neighbours to the officials.

A 34-year-old drunk man was seen brutally thrashing his 6-year-old daughter in Tamil Nadu's Perambalur district on Saturday. In a video, sent to SP Mani Shanmugam and Child Protection Officer Arul Selvi, Ramesh can be seen slapping his daughter continuously and threatening her not to cry.
