6 DNLA militants killed in Assam encounter, large cache of arms ammunition recovered

Six Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) militants were killed on Sunday in an encounter with security forces in West Karbi Anglong district, along the Assam-Nagaland border.
Six members of the outlawed Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) were killed in an encounter with security forces near the Assam- Nagaland border early on Sunday. The insurgent group is primarily active in the Assam districts of Dima Hasao and Karbi Anglong, as well as parts of neighbouring Nagaland. In an early morning operation by @assampolice and Assam Rifles, six DNLA terrorists were neutralised in Dhansiri area of Karbi Anglong district. Large cache of arms & ammunition also recovered. @adgpi A huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from the militants after the gunfight with a joint team of the paramilitary Assam rifles and the state police. The encounter took place at the Misibailam area near Dhansiri in Karbi Anglong district.More Related News
