50 Cent didn’t waste time in showing support to Donald Trump as he linked his song “Many Men (Wish Death)” to the attempted assassination of the former president at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday.
The rapper — whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III — was shot nine times and survived back in 2000, three years prior to releasing the classic hip-hop song where he touched on his close encounter with death.
50 Cent, in the hours after the Trump rally that killed one attendee, performed the song in Boston in front of an edited photo of his “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” album cover featuring Trump’s head on his body.
“Many, many, many, many men. Wish death ’pon me, lord I don’t cry no more, don’t look to the sky no more, have mercy on me,” the artist rapped in front of the edited image.
The rapper shared the edited album cover on social media, writing, “Trump gets shot and now I’m trending 🤷🏽♂️.”
