Champat Rai, while describing the map of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple said that a total of 21-22 lakh cubic feet of stone has been used in the construction of the entire structure. "Such a big stone structure would not have been built in Northern India even in the last 100-200 years, not even in the South," he said.
