The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, Charpak Master's Scholarship and Charpak Exchange Scholarship will help them access a global network of professionals.
Five students of the 2021-23 batches of IIM Bangalore's two-year full-time MBA programmes - Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGP-BA), have received prestigious scholarships for their dual degree and term exchange programmes in France.
The highly competitive scholarships are aimed to aid students in navigating daily costs during their stay in a new country.
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enrol in their Master's and PhD programmes. A monthly stipend of 1181 euros is provided for Eiffel scholars.
This scholarship was awarded to Jatan Vyas. He holds a bachelor's degree in Technology from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat. Post his graduation, he worked at Bharat Electronics Limited, a Ministry of Defence enterprise, as a Deputy Engineer before joining IIM Bangalore. He would be pursuing his international education at ESCP Business School.
Talking about how this opportunity would help further his career, Jatan says, "A Masters-in-Management (MiM) degree from ESCP, Europe along with an MBA from IIM Bangalore would give me the best of both worlds. The Eiffel Scholarship not only offsets my expenses but also provides an invaluable global network of other professionals."
The Charpak Master's Scholarship is for Indian students who want to pursue a postgraduate degree in France. The Charpak Scholarship's Master's programme is for one academic year, or ten months, from September to June. A monthly stipend of 700 euros is provided for the scholars.
The Charpak Master's Scholarship has been awarded to Nishant Singh, who would be joining ESCP, Europe. Nishant graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from NIT, Jamshedpur, after which he worked for more than three years as a Consultant at EXL Services.
