Five people have been arrested in relation to a weekend shooting outside of an east-end bowling alley, said Windsor's acting police chief.
Speaking on CBC's Windsor Morning, Jason Bellaire said police made "several" arrests overnight.
Bellaire said he believes five individuals have been arrested so far in relation to the incident, and police are seeking more suspects.
Police will give a press conference later Tuesday, but Bellaire did not confirm at what time.
On Monday, police said they were looking for three suspects, considered armed and dangerous. A 2004 Ford Explorer SUV truck that police say was the suspect vehicle was seized by officers on Sunday.
Someone shot into a crowd of about 20 to 25 people during a fight outside the business at about 1 a.m. ET on Saturday, said police. They initially said they were looking for one suspect.
More to come.
