5,000 teachers to be appointed in the current year: CM Basavaraja Bommai

Responding to the request made by the Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, B C Nagesh, the Karnataka Chief Minister, Basavaraj Bommai, said that 5,000 teachers would be recruited.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday announced that action would be taken to appoint 5,000 teachers in the state in the current year. CM Basavaraj Bommai was speaking after presenting the Best Teachers Awards at the Teacher's Day programme organised at Banquet Hall, Vidhana Soudha.
