47 killed, 49 injured in Philippines' plane crash; probe ordered

47 people were killed and 49 injured when a Philippine military aircraft crashed on Sunday. Defence Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said he has ordered an investigation into the incident.

All 96 passengers of the Philippine Air Force plane that crashed on Sunday killing 47 people have been accounted for, military chief Cirilito Sobejana said on Monday. Forty nine military personnel were injured in the crash, Sobejana told Reuters.
