Four people were shot dead during a firing between two groups in Bihar’s Bihta.
Four people were killed on Thursday after two groups clashed in Bihar’s Bihta town. The two groups started firing after they got into an argument over illegal sand extraction from the Son river.
The four were shot dead on the spot. Police have now reached the spot and an investigation is underway.
The incident came just days after two bike-borne men opened fire on National Highways 28 and 31 in Bihar’s Begusarai on September 13. One person was killed in the incident and at least nine others were critically injured.
The motorcycle-borne assailants went on a rampage at Malhipur Chowk in Begusarai and fired indiscriminately at the crowd.
