4 killed, 7 wounded in latest NYC shootings

Four people were killed and seven others wounded in nine shootings from late Thursday afternoon through early Friday across New York City, according to police.
The violence began on Cruger Avenue near Lydig Avenue in Morris Park just after 3 p.m., when Abdessamad Essafoui, 23, was blasted in the chest, authorities said. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, and the motive is unclear.More Related News
