The grand old party had alleged that the photo was broken when the workers of the Students’ Federation of India, or SFI - the student wing of the Left, vandalized the party office in Wayanad.
Four Congress workers, including Rahul Gandhi's personal assistant in Wayanad Ratheesh, have been arrested by the police in connection with vandalism of Mahatma Gandhi’s photo in Rahul Gandhi's office in June.
The grand old party had alleged that the photo was broken when the workers of the Students’ Federation of India, or SFI - the student wing of the Left, vandalized the party office in Wayanad.
The Indian Youth Congress, in a tweet back then, had said that “the goons held the flags of SFI” as they scaled the walls of Rahul Gandhi's Wayanad office and vandalised it.
The police, however, countered the allegations and said that it was the Congress who was behind the alleged attack.
