4 dead, several injured as wedding party’s SUV falls in J&K's Ramban gorge

Four people were killed and several others sustained injuries after a car carrying a wedding party fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.

Four people were killed and several others sustained injuries after a Sport utility vehicle (SUV) carrying a wedding party fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.

The incident took place in the Ramsoo area. The SUV carrying a marriage party back home from Neel to Shagan in Ramsoo sub-division Ramsoo when the vehicle skid off the road and plunged into a 1,000-metre deep gorge.

Two people died on the spot and two others succumbed on their way to the hospital. Four injured people have been referred to the GMC Anantnag in South Kashmir.
