QNA AsuncionThe third shipment of medical aid (Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines) provided from Qatar to Paraguay arrived at Asuncion International Airport on Saturday.The ceremony to deliver the aid was attended by Minister of Foreign Relations of Paraguay Euclides Acevedo, Strategic Affairs Advisor at the Presidency Federico Gonzalez, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Paraguay Lida Sosa, Ambassador of Paraguay to Qatar HE Angel Barchini and Acting Charges D’Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Paraguay HE Said bin Hamad Al Marri.The minister of Foreign Relations thanked Qatar’s government and people for their donations and solidarity with the Paraguayan people in difficult times. The minister praised the strength of bilateral ties between the two countries and their leadership, stressing that the Paraguayan people will not forget the aid.For his part, the strategic affairs advisor at the presidency expressed gratitude to the State of Qatar’s government and people for the aid that arrived at a time when Paraguay is facing a severe crisis.The deputy minister of Health and Social Welfare of Paraguay expressed her thanks to Qatar’s government and people and praised ties between the two countries.For his part, the acting Charges D’Affaires at the Embassy of Qatar in Paraguay praised bilateral ties and stressed that Qatar always rushes to aid friendly countries. He added that the aid reflects the strong relations between the two countries.
