39 inmates including 6 children test Covid positive in Mumbai's Byculla jail

Thirty-nine people, comprising inmates and six children, have tested positive for coronavirus in Mumbai's Byculla women's jail over the past 10 days, officials said on Saturday.

As many as 39 inmates, including six children in Mumbai's Byculla jail, have been shifted to the isolation centre after testing positive for Covid-19.

A pregnant woman also tested positive and has been shifted to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
