37 new COVID-19 cases in London area since Friday, no deaths

The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) says there have been 37 new COVID-19 cases since Friday.
The total includes 11 cases reported Saturday, 19 Sunday and seven Monday.
There were no additional deaths reported over the weekend.
Six people have died with COVID-19 so far in October, including three people who were not vaccinated, two who were partially vaccinated and one person who was fully vaccinated, though had compromised immunity, according to the MLHU.
Forty-six recoveries have been posted since Friday, with 116 known active cases in the region.
The seven-day rolling average of daily cases is up slightly to 17.
London Health Sciences Centre says it is caring for seven patients with COVID-19, including five or fewer in critical care. Five or fewer staff members have tested positive for the virus and are isolating.
Southwestern Public Health has reported 35 new COVID-19 cases since Friday and no additional deaths. There are 87 ongoing cases in the region, including 56 in Oxford County and 31 in Elgin St. Thomas.
Huron Perth Public Health posted two new cases on Monday, with 15 ongoing cases.
Meanwhile, Ontario reported 326 new COVID-19 cases on Monday as capacity limits for restaurants, gyms and casinos that require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 are being lifted.
The seven-day rolling average of new infections dropped to 372. There are 138 patients with COVID-19 in critical care across Ontario, including 94 who need a ventilator.
