352 new COVID-19 cases in the London area since Friday, no deaths

The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) is reporting 352 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths since Friday. The tally includes 149 cases on Saturday, 85 cases on Sunday and 118 cases on Monday.
There were 127 recoveries posted, with 857 active cases in the region, according to the MLHU.
The seven-day rolling average for daily cases is up to 98.
The latest positive cases come after 1,676 people were tested at the Carling Heights assessment centre.
The fewest cases are among people 65 and older (6.1 per cent), followed by children 12 to 17 years old (8.2 per cent).
The majority of new cases are among people who are fully vaccinated, accounting for over 62 per cent of cases reported since Nov. 8, according to the health unit.
The number of fully vaccinated patients being treated for COVID-19 in hospital now outnumber those who are not vaccinated. According to the MLHU, nearly 54 per cent of hospitalizations are people who are fully vaccinated or have had one dose of a vaccine. Just over 42 per cent are unvaccinated.
London Health Sciences Centre was caring for 16 patients with COVID-related illnesses at local hospitals, up two from Friday.
Eight adult patients are in critical care, five or fewer with COVID-19 in the Children's Hospital and there are no patients in pediatric critical care, according to the hospital network.
The hospital network says 28 staff members have tested positive for the virus and are isolating, more than double the number of staff infected on Friday. There are no active outbreaks at London hospitals.
Southwestern Public Health is reporting 128 new COVID-19 cases since Friday and no additional deaths. There are 313 ongoing cases in the region, along with 10 patients in hospital, including six in critical care.
Huron Perth Public Health posted eight new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, with 100 ongoing infections in the region.
Meanwhile, Ontario reported 3,784 new COVID-19 on Monday, including 1,056 cases in Toronto alone. There were no additional deaths across the province.
The number of patients being treated for COVID-related illnesses who are in critical care is up to 164, up slightly from the same time last week. The seven-day rolling average for daily cases across the province is up to 2,863, a 115 per cent jump from last week.
