3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist
CBC
London Morning's associate producer Ryan Soulliere listens to a lot of music each week for his role picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. From this week's show, here are his three top local and Canadian picks.
Starting this week's Top 3 music picks is Johnny's Song by Status/Non-Status. This one is mellow and melodic but not too slow. Johnny's Song is great for relaxing. It would play well as an early track on your next party playlist to set a warm mood.
Bia Ferreira grew up on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro and you can hear the sounds of Brazil in her music. The multi-instrumentalist has a great range of songs from mellow to full-on dance and Grandona has some great beats and infectious groves. Try this one at your next gathering.
Three-time Juno award winner K-OS has a huge catalogue of music with enough variety to please just about any fan. London Morning played his 2005 single of the year Crabbucket for its fantastic, uplifting beat and melody. It's an oldie but a goody that plays well at any occasion, and it's banger at parties.
