The Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Kashmir reported on Thursday morning that 3 soldiers have received minor injuries in an ongoing encounter between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.
Three soldiers were injured in an encounter that broke out between militants and security forces on Thursday morning in a village in Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Kashmir zone police quoted the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar in a tweet and said that the exact location of the encounter is in Malwa where 3 soldiers received injuries in the initial exchange of fire.

According to the Kashmir zone police, the Budgam Police and Army are working together to control the situation. The exchange of firing was still going on when the reports last came in and further details are awaited.
