Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel managed to rescue 10 men who were stuck at Buran Pass in Kinnaur.
Heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district led to the death of three hikers on Saturday, October 23. The trio was part of a 13-strong group that had left for Sangla, Kinnaur, from Janglikh in Rohru, Shimla.
Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel managed to rescue 10 men who were stuck at Buran Pass in Kinnaur — at a height of 4,696 metres above sea level. The group had managed to reach Buran Pass, but could not move beyond due to heavy snowfall in the region.
