3 HDFC Bank employees, 9 others held for trying to withdraw huge sums from NRI account

The Delhi Police has arrested 12 people, including 3 HDFC Bank employees, for attempting to make unauthorised withdrawals from a very high-value NRI account.

The Delhi Police has arrested 12 people, including 3 HDFC Bank employees, for attempting to make unauthorised withdrawals from a very high-value NRI account and also fraudulently obtaining cheque books etc.

Police have recovered the cheque book the group had managed to obtain and also a mobile phone number identical to that of the NRI account holder who resides in the US.
