3 deaths, 138 COVID-19 hospitalizations in London, Ont., on Friday

The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) reported another three COVID-19-related deaths in the region on Friday.
A man in his 90s and a man in his 80s from long-term care who were fully vaccinated have died, along with a man in his 50s who was unvaccinated.
There have now been 13 COVID-19-related deaths in Middlesex-London in February. The death toll since the pandemic began is up to 313.
The MLHU reported 122 new cases of the virus among people in high-risk occupations or settings. The seven-day rolling average for daily cases is down to 153.
The London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) on Friday reported 138 inpatients, down by one from Thursday. The number of patients in ICU beds is up by one to 26.
Of the total, the hospital network said:
The number of staff who have tested positive for the virus is up to 169, down by 23 from the previous day.

Ontario reported 2,634 people with COVID-19 in the province's hospitals, down from 2,797 the day before. There were 517 patients who required intensive care, down from 541 reported Thursday.
The Ministry of Health reported 60 more COVID-19-related deaths across Ontario, bringing the death toll to 11,711 since the pandemic began.
