Indian High Commission has issued an advisory for students who were enrolled in 3 Canadian colleges now closed.
Canada student news: The High Commission of India has released an advisory for Indian students advising them to cross-check the details of the institutions where they are getting admission before paying the fees.
The institutions were started by Rising Phoenix International Inc -- M College in Montreal, CED College in Sherbrooke, and CCSQ College in Longueuil, in Quebec. However, these institutions have been closed suddenly.
The commission has also said that the Quebec government has informed the students that they can change institutions and take admission to some other institutions.
"Should they require any immediate assistance, students from India, currently in Canada affected by the closures of these colleges may approach the Education Wing of the High Commission of India in Ottawa by addressing an email to inf.ottawa@mea.gov.in or the Consulate General of India in Toronto by addressing an email to com.toronto@mea.gov.in," the Commission said in a notice.
To provide support to such students, the Commission has been in close contact with the federal government of Canada, it said.
