Three Assam Rifles jawans were among four detained in Dibrugarh for transporting drugs worth Rs 1 crore.
The Assam Police arrested four persons including three jawans of the Assam Rifles in connection with a drug trafficking case in the Dibrugarh district and seized drugs worth Rs 1 crore.
The police arrested the accused from National Highway-37 near Jokai on Friday morning. The accused were driving a car from Dimapur, Nagaland to Tinsukia, Assam. Police recovered 269 grams of heroin from another vehicle.
