2nd Test: Veerasammy Permaul 5-wicket haul puts West Indies on top before rain plays spoilsport on Day 2

West Indies vs Sri Lanka: Spinners Veerasammy Perumal and Jomel Warrican shared 9 wickets between them as Sri Lanka were restricted to 204 on Day 2 of the 2nd Test in Galle. 

West Indies remained in a dominant position as they reached 69/1 on Day 2 of the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka before rain played spoilsport in Galle. Sri Lanka were restricted to 204 as West Indies spinners triggered a big collapse of the hosts on Tuesday.

Left-arm spinners Veerasammy Permaul and Jomel Warrican combined for nine Sri Lanka wickets with career-best performances.
