Bangladesh tour of New Zealand: After stunning Tom Latham's men in the first Test, Bangladesh are hoping to achieve a 'very special' series victory against New Zealand, says Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo.
Bangladesh coach Russel Domingo has said that the Mominul Haque-led tourists are determined to do 'very special' things by beating New Zealand in the 2nd Test and clinching the ongoing series. Bangladesh scripted a historic victory, their first ever in New Zealand in any format, in the first Test in Mount Maunganui.
New Zealand were stunned as they let Bangladesh take a 130-run first-innings lead after handy contributions from the batting unit of the visitors. Pacer Ebadot Hossain picked up a 6-wicket haul in the 2nd innings as New Zealand collapsed to 169 in their 2nd innings, setting Bangladesh only a 40-run target which the visitors chase down with 8 wickets to spare.
