India Women tour of England: Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma and Poonam Yadav starred in India's 8-run vs England in the 2nd T20I in Hove on Sunday. Batting first India Women had posted 148 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.

India Women defended a 149-run target to beat England Women by 8 runs in the 2nd T20I in Hove on Sunday. With the win, Harmanpreet Kaur's team levelled the 3-match series 1-1. After being asked to bat first, India openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana gave India a flying start. The latter scored 20 runs off 16 balls but stood at the wicket till the end of 9th over to stitch an opening stand of 70 runs with 17-year-old Shafali.
