283 Covid-19 cases in Qatar on May 23 as virus claims one life

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 283 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 353 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 210,942.

Out of 283 new cases, 175 are community cases and 108 from travellers returning from abroad. The ministry also announced death of a 60-year-old, taking the total death toll as of today to 544.
