India logged 28,591 new cases in the last 24 hours, 14 per cent lower than yesterday's cases (33,376). The country also reported 338 deaths over the same period. The test positivity rate stands at 1.87 per cent, less than 3per cent for last 13 days. With 20,487 cases, Kerala had a major share in the new cases reported today. The state also reported 181 deaths.
