269 people caught violating Covid-19 precautionary measures

Doha: Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials have intensified efforts to take action against individuals violating various Covid-19 precautionary measures in the country and have reported 269 violations in the country.

240 were booked for not wearing masks in public and 23 people for not maintaining safe physical distance. The Ministry also referred five persons for not installing the Ehteraz application and one person for not following the limit of people inside a vehicle, which is specified as 4 including the driver, except for the same family members.
