24-year-old writer Kavin Kumar is collecting money through his Instagram page, where he sells customised poems for Rs 20, to buy food for the poor during Covid-19.
At a time when people are trying to make money using their art, a 24-year-old man from Tamil Nadu’s Trichy has been working hard to help the poor using his talent to write poems. Kavin Kumar, who runs an Instagram page called Malalai Kavingyan for the past two years has shot to limelight for his humanity and care towards the society. A page that started off as a place where people could order customized poems went on to become a platform that aims at serving the society. “Initially, followers were requesting customised poems. I used to charge Rs 20 for a poem and I used to provide food for people on the road. First we went to an orphanage and donated 25kg of rice. Many followers appreciated and this gave a spark,” said Kavin.More Related News
