23.5 kg ganja seized from train at Coimbatore railway station

Personnel from Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) seized ganja weighing around 23.5 kg from a train at the Coimbatore railway station.
A few unclaimed bundles of marijuana or ganja weighing 23.5 kg were seized from an express train at the Coimbatore railway station by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel.
The RPF officials carried out a search in Dhanbad Express (Dhanbad-Alleppey) on Tuesday at 9 AM after receiving a tip-off that ganja was being smuggled in the train. According to a report published in the Times of India (TOI), the officials seized the contraband in coach S4 and recovered 16.5 kg of ganja.
