22-year-old CA topper speaks on exam prep during a pandemic and why more women are aiming for CA

Komal Jain, the topper of CA Finals 2020, shared with us tips for her success and how she prepared for one of the toughest exams amidst the pandemic.
Komal Kishore Jain, the 22-year-old who topped the Charted Accountant (CA) exam in Mumbai as per the February results, has been a serial academic achiever. With 95.8 percent in class 10 and 94.42 percent in class 12, her scores have been exemplary. In 2017, she secured the fourth rank in the IPCC exam. A part of a close-knit middle-class family of four in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area, Komal graduated from RA Poddar College of Commerce in 2019 and scored 600 out of 800 in the new scheme of the CA exam which was held in November 2020 after being delayed four times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Her father is a retired accountant and her mother is a homemaker. Her younger sister is pursuing her MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.More Related News
