The 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL returns to its roots with a soft top while retaining its sporty character. The 2+2-seater roadster is said to not only be suitable for everyday use but also puts its power down on the road with all-wheel drive for the first time. The new Mercedes-AMG SL also features AMG Active Ride Control suspension with active anti-roll stabilization, rear-axle steering, and the optionally available AMG ceramic high-performance composite brake system. In combination with the AMG 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine, Mercedes-AMG in Affalterbach developed the SL completely independently with two models with AMG V8 engines to kick off its market launch.
