2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno bookings cross 50,000 mark

The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno has managed to rack up more than 50,000 bookings within a month of its launch. Prices of the new Baleno start from Rs 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback bookings have crossed the 50,000 mark. This has been achieved by the premium hatchback in less than two months since bookings commenced on February 7, 2022. Even before the price announcement, the car had surpassed the 25,000 bookings mark, proving the popularity of the car in the Indian market. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is available from Rs 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno carries forward the overall design of the successful predecessor, with a refreshed look and a splash of new features. The car now carries LED daytime running lights that look like serrated teeth, a wider nose with a wider grille, wider wraparound tail lamps. New look 16-inch alloys complete the look.
On the inside too the new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a refreshed cabin, dominated by the new floating 9-inch infotainment system. Some highlights of the cabin include a 360-degree camera system, a head-up display, rear aircon vents, cruise control, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering and more.
The older Baleno sold over a million units in India, single-handedly dominating the premium hatchback segment against cars like the Honda Jazz, Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20. The car was a regular entry in the top five highest-selling vehicles each month. The new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is sold in four trims, with both manual and automatic options with prices starting at Rs 6.35 lakh and going up to Rs 9:49 lakh for the Alpha automatic (all prices ex-showroom).
