2022 Arizona Senate race: Mark Kelly leads Blake Masters

Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, a Democrat, is leading his Trump-backed GOP challenger Blake Masters in the race for the state's Senate seat, and CBS News characterizes the race as leaning Democratic.
As of Thursday morning, Kelly's lead had increased by a few thousand since Wednesday. He's currently leading Masters by about 95,000 votes, or 5 percentage points, over Masters, with 76% of the results in.
Kelly is defending his seat in hopes of winning his first full term in the Senate. A former astronaut and U.S. Navy pilot, Kelly was first elected in 2020 in a special election after the death of Republican Sen. John McCain.
