2021 Aprilia RS 660 India price leaked: What to expect
India Today
Aprillia’s middle-weight track champion the RS 660 has been on the cards for India for some time now, ahead of the launch a new pricing document indicates the likely launch price of the motorcycle.
It’s been known for a while now that Piaggio had earmarked their new middle-weight track machine, the RS 660 for India. Now a new price document that has been doing the rounds with prices for the 2021 Aprilia motorcycles, seems to have announced the price for the new RS 660 before the company has made any official announcement. According to the price document the new RS 660 is likely to be priced at Rs 13.40 lakh. Which is eye-watering but not surprising, the Aprilia RS 660 has been touted as a pint-sized RSV4 for the avant-garde track-enthusiast. For those who are not in the know, the RS 660 is the newest motorcycle in the Aprillia line up, and has been developed entirely from scratch. The styling draws on the newest generation of the Aprilia RSV4, but the RS 660 will most certainly stand out in its own right. Everything from the sleek sharp lines that come together to create the front fairing or the sharp twin-LED headlamps and the exposed aluminium frame, all give the RS 660 the presence of a track thoroughbred. Suspension components come from Kayaba, with a fully adjustable fork up front and a monoshock at the back. Stopping force comes through radially mounted Brembo discs. Under the skin is the BS6 compliant 659cc parallel-twin engine that shares its outlay with Aprilia RSV4 1100's V4. With the 270 degree firing order, the twin makes an incredible 100bhp at 10,500rpm and 67Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm. Keeping things tidy is Aprillia’s comprehensive electronics suite with a 6-axis IMU with three-level cornering ABS, adjustable wheelie control, traction control and engine brake control. It also gets an up/down quickshifter and cruise control. The motorcycle has five ride modes Commute, Dynamic, Individual, Challenge and Time Attack. All of which can be toggled through the TFT instruments upfront.More Related News
