The 2021 Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) champions Perth Scorchers have retain South Africa all-rounder Marizanne Kapp for the 2022-23 season.
Kapp had won Player of the Final after a crucial performance against Adelaide Strikers at Optus Stadium. She scored 31 not out off 23 balls and took one wicket in spite of being bedridden in the lead-up to the match.
The South African all-rounder finished the 2021-22 season with 12 wickets. Kapp's signing completes the Scorchers' list of international signings for the upcoming season. She has been joined by New Zealanders Sophie Devine and Maddy Green as overseas players.
