As many as 20 patients admitted in Delhi's Jaipur Golden hospital died late Friday night, allegedly due to shortage of oxygen.
As many as 20 patients admitted to the critical care unit of Delhi's Jaipur Golden hospital died late Friday night, allegedly due to shortage of oxygen, an official said on Saturday. Dr DK Baluja, Medical Director, Jaipur Golden Hospital, told India Today TV, "The oxygen supply will last only half an hour now. Yesterday, we were supposed to get 3,600 metric tonnes of oxygen, but we received only 1,500 litres. We lost 20 people due to the shortage of oxygen last night." Early Saturday, the hospital had sent an SOS to the Delhi government, requesting an urgent supply of oxygen.More Related News
